While a seven-foot termite strapped to the roof of a hearse may seem fearsome, those who have dealt with the dangers of actual termites know that the real threat is much scarier. That’s what the Sentricon® System Deader Than Dead Tour highlighted on its six week, 12 stop US tour. The goal of the tour was to educate homeowners on the importance of preventative termite control and the value provided by the Sentricon® System with Always Active™.

On April 4th, the Sentricon® Deader Than Dead Tour, complete with the seven-foot termite and hearse, rolled into Nashville to celebrate All-American Pest Control and their Inaugural Hometown Hero Award recipient, Bill “Coach” Robinson. The hearse and tour team started the day off with pictures and breakfast at All-American Pest Control. All-American Pest Control is the largest independent Certified Sentricon Specialist in Tennessee.

“All-American was a hesitant early adopter of the Sentricon System,” says Erin Richardson. “In 1995 when we were first introduced to Sentricon® with Always Active™, we just couldn’t believe that plastic stations would prevent and eliminate termites. Sentricon® with Always Active™ has revolutionized termite control and our business. 25 years later, we believe in Sentricon® with Always Active™ so much that we offer a $1,000,000 Termite Damage Repair Warranty.”

After breakfast and pictures of the All-American team with the hearse, the tour team traveled out to Watertown, TN to celebrate the All-American Hometown Hero Award recipient. All-American Pest Control’s Hometown Hero Award was created to celebrate all the good people in Nashville who keep our families, schools, churches, and communities safe and strong!

Middle Tennesseans were invited to nominate individual homeowners, military homeowners, and non-profits who live out All-American Pest’s core values of reliability, remarkable service, teamwork, respect, thoughtful innovation, and servant leadership. Twenty nominations were received, and Bill Robinson of Watertown was selected as the inaugural Hometown Hero award recipient. Coach Robinson and his wife, Shirley, have been awarded 10 years of FREE pest control and termite protection.

Coach Robinson is a true hometown hero!

Coach Bill Robinson served as a teacher and coach in the Wilson County School System for over 37 years, with most of that time at Watertown High School. He now serves as the School Board Member for Zone 2 on the Wilson County School Board. He attends county commission meetings, finance meetings, and other committee meetings to stay informed of what is going on in all facets of government so that he can make well-informed decisions for teachers, students, parents, and taxpayers in our community.

Coach Robinson is a member of College Hills Church of Christ where he volunteers at the school store to provide supplies to underprivileged children. He was also a high school Sunday school teacher for many years.

As a teacher and coach, Coach Robinson, as he is known to most, has been a tremendous mentor and role model to students and players. At various times he coached football, girls’ and boys’ basketball, baseball, and softball.

He demanded respect, gave respect, and never asked someone to do something he wasn’t willing to do himself. He taught people to work as a team and not as individuals. He taught not only history, world geography, and sports, but also a great deal about life. To this day, he continues to do the same.

Coach Robinson is a role model for all and a true hometown hero.
